Goldenview Middle School - Trip to France - June 2006Our French teacher, Madame Oakley, likes to travel with student groups. This year she and Mrs. Meade are planning a trip to Paris and the Brittany region of France. In past years she has taken groups to Guadelupe, Martinique, and other parts of France. We had to fill out an application with an essay and letters of recommendation from some of our teachers.
In December we found out we were selected to be part of the travel group. We will meet every month from now until June getting ready to go on our trip. We will study places in France, learn about passports and travel tips, and prepare to go abroad. Most of the time we will meet at Goldenview Middle School.
